Congratulations to Dilworth 12's Tournament of Champions (TOC's) Winner!
The Dilworth 12s won their tournament with a 2-1 win over Myers Park on Friday, June 24th and a 6-1 win over Coul Oak on Saturday, June 25th. Great job boys and coaches!
Roby Wins Championship!
In a truly wonderful championship game last night, Roby Construction was victorious over Coachman Cleaners 14 to 5. It was an exciting game from the first pitch to the last out. Both teams played extremely well and both teams made some amazing plays. Coachman played their own strategy that got them into the game and played hard all six innings. Coachman's young pitcher, Jack, faced three veteran Roby 12 year olds who were determined to win the game. Jack pitched an excellent game mixing his pitches up and going low on what seemed every throw.
Coachman's catcher Walker was the proverbial "wall" for Jack's breaking balls and made an amazing pop-fly out that was a show-stopper mid-game. Roby's pitcher Connor threw an equally great game and Roby's pitcher Vince came in at the end to seal the deal. All of Roby's players Jack, Vince, Doug, Connor, Michael, Nick, Britton, Jamelle, Jordan, Cole, Carney and Cooper all played their hearts out in the game. Congratulations to both teams for a truly great end to the 2011 spring season!

Little League International ASAP Program
In 1994 Little League International developed a safety program called "A Safety Awareness Program" or ASAP. In 2010 Little League announced that it is a requirement for each Little League organization to submit their own ASAP program (each year) for approval. The ASAP program's intent is to ensure the safety of all children playing in a league chartered under Little League International. The Dilworth Little League submitted their ASAP program to Little League International and received their ASAP approval for 2011.
