Dilworth Families –
This contains several important updates about our Fall season and I urge you to read it carefully.
Yesterday, the DYSA Board voted to proceed with Fall baseball and softball for Minors and older divisions. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer Tee Ball, Machine Pitch, and Softball 8U Rookies this season. We hope to offer other baseball/softball opportunities for those younger players later in the season.
For our Minors and older divisions we will be operating under a strict safety protocol as recently adopted by our Board and approved by Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation. Our Safety Plan is attached and you should read it carefully to determine if your family can comply with the guidelines.
We understand that the Safety Plan will place a burden on some families, and that they may choose not to play under these conditions. Those families have the opportunity to “unregister” by emailing email@example.com no later than Sunday, August 9thindicating they intend to sit out this season.
All unused registration fee credits from this past Spring will roll over to the Spring 2021 season. If you’d prefer a refund please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those families wishing to proceed this Fall, your Spring credit, if any, will be applied to your Fall registration. We’ll be in touch with more details for families that owe Fall registration fees.
Compliance with our attached Safety Plan is non-negotiable for the Fall season. Violations of the Safety Plan will result in the cancelation of our field reservations by Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation thereby ending the Fall season for all Dilworth teams.
Thank you for your support of Dilworth Little League. We look forward to demonstrating to the community that we can operate a safe sports program for your children.
