Dilworth Little League was able to grant 62 scholarships during the 2015 season which was an increase over the 46 granted in 2013. Please consider making a donation to the League so we can continue to give back to our community. Little League announced a new regulation for 2014 which provides that players are eligible to play for a league if the physical location of the school where they attend classes is within the boundaries of that league, even if their residence is not. Therefore, if your player lives outside of Dilworth Little League's boundaries but attends a school that is located within Dilworth Little League's boundaries, your player is eligible to play for Dilworth Little League. This regulation applies to public and private schools located within our boundaries (for example, Trinity Episcopal School, Dilworth Elementary School, St. Patrick's and St. Ann's Schools, Park Road Montessori and Holy Trinity Middle School) but does not apply to home schools, cyber schools, sports-related schools, sports academies or preschool or after-school programs. To be eligible to play for Dilworth Little League under the new "school rule," you must provide evidence of enrollment for the current academic year dated prior to October 1, 2013. For more information, go to the Little League website, click on the "Learn More" tab and then click "Rule Changes & Clarifications" and "2014 Rule Changes."

All of the information needed to register your child to play with the Dilworth Little League or Dilworth Senior League league is provided on this page. If you have any questions that are not answered with the information provided here, please email our Registration Director at

If you have questions about post-season play, the evaluations or the Major league draft, directed your question to our Player Agent at

Coach/Teammate Requests - We will not be accepting requests to be placed on a team with a specific coach or with other children. There will only be one Head Coach and on Assistant Coach designated to each team. Only the Head Coach's children and the Assistant Coach's children will be placed on that team. This change was deemed necessary due to high number of requests that were made in the past that resulted in unbalanced teams from both a skill level and from a coaching resource level. We believe this change will create more balanced teams and will enable parents and players to meet more of the their fellow Dilworth Little League community and peers. We appreciate your understanding of this change.

No Coach Pitch - DYSA has decided to have 2 divisions of Machine Pitch based on player age.

Player Evaluation Information

Evaluations are mandatory for players interested in being drafted into the major league. We strongly recommend that all 9-12 year olds (not already on a major league team) attend evaluations. This enables us to place undrafted players on minor league teams more evenly.
