DYSA Shelter at Freedom Park
Dilworth Little League has been granted approval to construct a shelter adjacent to the concession stand at the Freedom Park minor league baseball fields. The shelter will be a welcome and much needed improvement to the facility as it will provide players and spectators a place to take cover in the event of rain.

The cost of the 30’ shelter is $25,000, all of which must come from individual and corporate donations. It will take the collective efforts of the greater community to make this dream come true. The shelter will be dedicated to the memory of Louella Bottrill, wife of longtime League President Mark Bottrill and mother of players Russell and Luke. Many of you knew Louella personally and recall her courageous battle with breast cancer, which sadly took her life in April 2008. Louella’s positive attitude in the face of great adversity embodied the very essence of Dilworth Little League and this shelter is meant to serve as a constant reminder of her remarkable spirit.
YOUR PURCHASE OF A BRICK PAVER WILL MAKE THIS DREAM COME TRUE!
To help raise funds for the shelter, the League has initiated a brick paver
program. Each donor (individual, family or company) will have its name engraved
on a brick that will be permanently displayed at the shelter.

$100 - Brick Paver Donor Level
- Your family, child, and/or company name engraved on a brick paver to be permanently displayed on the floor of the shelter.
$250 - Friend of Dilworth Little League Level
- Your family, child(ren), and/or company name engraved on a brick paver to be permanently displayed on the floor of the shelter.
- Recognition at www.dyaa.net as a “Friend of Dilworth Little League”
- Recognition on sponsor board at both ball fields.
- Recognition at opening and closing ceremonies as a “Friend of Dilworth Little League”
